Gerry Francis

Francis is arguably one of the finest players to have starred for Queens Park Rangers FC during his successful playing career. He was installed as the captain of QPR during the 1970’s and while playing for rangers; he enjoyed a spell as England captain. He nearly helped Rangers win the league title in 1976 and later on became their club manager.

Stan Bowles

Bowles played for a host of football clubs during his playing career, after enjoying spells with Bury, Manchester City, Crewe and Carlisle United, he move don to sign for Queens Park Rangers in 1972and went on to spend seven years playing for the club, making around 300 appearances for Rangers. He later on enjoyed spells playing for Leyton Orient and Brentford.

Don Givens

Given is one of the Republic of Irelands top ever goal scorers, scoring 19 in his 56 appearances for the nation. He is most notable for scoring four goals in a match against turkey during his career playing. He played his domestic football for various clubs that included Manchester United, Sheffield United and Luton Town. He mad many appearances for QPR over the years playing for the club.

Mike Flanagan

Mike Flanagan played over 250 games for Charlton between 1971 and 1979. His finest season in front of goal was the 1976-77 season, when he scored 23 league goals, a prolific rate in front of goal, making him the divisions leading goal scorer. Anxious for First division football, he moved to Crystal Palace in 1979. The £650,000 Palace paid for him was Charlton’s record fee received for over 10 years until Paul Williams left Charlton Athletic.  He also enjoyed a very successful spell playing for Queens park rangers.
