Mark Hateley

Hateley started his playing career with Coventry City in 1978, spending five years at the club. His finest ever season in English football would have to be regarded as the 1983-84 season, playing for Portsmouth. He was prolific in front of goal, scoring a staggering 25 league goals in only 44 appearances. His outstanding play for the club earned him a lucrative move to Italy to play for AC Milan. He then went on to play in France for Monaco, before moving to Scotland to play for Glasgow Rangers. He is one of England’s greatest ever players to have played all over Europe. Hateley is regarded as one of the most influential players to have played for Glasgow Rangers, he re- signed for the club in 1997, helping them win the title, despite only being at the club for a month. He enjoyed a fine two year spell playing for Queens Park rangers between 1995 and 1997.

Ian Holloway

Holloway played for a variation of football league clubs during his playing career. He started off at Bristol Rovers between 1981 and 1985 before moving on to play for Wimbledon in the summer of 1985. After a single season with the Dons, he moved on to sign for Brentford. Holloway moved to QPR in the summer of 1991 for £230,000 and soon became a firm favourite wit the Rangers supporters establishing himself as a great player. He is now a successful manager.

Kevin Gallen

Gallen is without doubt a cult hero at Queens Park rangers, having played for the club in over twelve years. He signed for QPR as a trainee and made his debut in 1994. He spent eight years playing for rangers during his first spell between 1992 and 2000. After a short period at Huddersfield Town, Gallen moved back to his beloved QPR in 2001. He soon made an impact in his return to the club and established himself as a first choice captain at the club. He is a well known character in football and has made over 400 appearances for the club.
